ALUMINUM ACSR

Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) Wire is a bare, stranded electrical conductor predominantly used for overhead power transmission and distribution lines. Its unique construction combines the excellent conductivity and lightweight properties of an outer layer of aluminum wires with the high tensile strength of a central steel core. This design optimizes the wire for long spans, as the steel provides the mechanical support to prevent excessive sag, reducing the need for numerous poles or towers. ACSR's ability to efficiently carry electrical current while maintaining structural integrity makes it a highly economical, dependable, and widely adopted solution for transmitting power across various voltage levels, from extra-high voltage to local distribution circuits.
