This 15kV aluminum cable is specifically built for long-term underground residential distribution (URD). By using a 133% insulation level, it provides extra protection against voltage surges and insulation degradation.
Water-Blocked Stranded Conductors: The interstitial spaces between conductor strands are filled with a specialized compound to prevent longitudinal moisture migration, protecting the core of your cable from the inside out.
133% TR-XLPE Insulation: Featuring 220 mils of Tree-Retardant XLPE, this cable offers superior resistance to "water treeing" and electrochemical failure compared to standard 100% rated cables.
Full Concentric Neutral: With 10 x #14 AWG solid bare copper wires, this cable provides a 100% neutral capacity, making it a safe choice for single-phase residential grounding and return current.
